Frequently asked questions
Go to Licence Register and click "Import CSV". Your file needs columns for first_name, surname, and sia_licence_number (16 digits). Optional columns include role, licence_sector, email, phone, and notes. Guard Checker validates every row before import.
Check frequency depends on your plan. Starter plans run weekly checks, Next Level runs daily, and Large plans support daily or hourly checks. You can also trigger a manual re-check for any operative at any time.
Guard Checker automatically updates the licence status and creates an alert on your dashboard. If you have notifications enabled, you will receive an email or SMS immediately.
Yes. Go to Settings and configure expiry warning thresholds at 30, 60, or 90 days — or set custom warning periods. Alerts can be sent via email, SMS, or both.
Absolutely. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use role-based access controls, and our infrastructure is hosted entirely in the UK. We never share your data with third parties.
